Victor Romagnoli & Alastair Smith
Victor and Alastair first came to the Greek islands in the 1980s and found it impossible not to fall under the spell of this magical place in the world. They have been guiding tours in the region for the past 35 years and have chosen to make their home on Tinos Island for 25 of those years.
When Victor is at home, his organic garden and vineyard keep him occupied, and both he and Alastair enjoy exploring the many diverse walking trails of Tinos. When Victor is away from the island, he is a Rick Steves guide in Greece and Italy.
Both Alastair and Victor frequently collaborate in organising and leading culinary tours together with New York Times bestselling author Diane Kochilas, who has written many cookbooks on Greek and Mediterranean cuisine and is the host of the PBS television series “My Greek Table.”
